Tokyo is the second largest city on earth by area and to see as much of it as we can, we would love to take guided tours of two of Tokyo's most popular wards: Shinjuku and Shibuya. On these tours we will see Japanese yokochos and eat yakitori and other Japanese staples at izakayas while we meet the locals and learn more about the culture of Japan.

The elephant preservation in Koh Samui also cares for elephants that "have previously endured a hard life working long hours for the tourism entertainment or logging industries; a striking contrast to the happy and peaceful lives they are now living, with the dignity and respect they deserve." The incredible oasis of Ang Thong National Marine Park consists of 40 islands with magnificent limestone mountains, thick jungle, white-sand beaches, fertile mangroves, waterfalls and hidden coves and lakes. We plan on seeing as much as we can on this daylong speedboat excursion. Along the way, we will spend time snorkelling, hiking, sea kayaking, diving, sailing and relaxing in a dreamlike retreat.

One of our favorite places to go out on date nights is our local sushi place in Lambertville. However, while in Japan, eat like the Japanese do! We would love to visit a traditional sushi restaurant while in Tokyo where the sushi is made by hand in front of you and served to you individually while they are being created. With your help, we might not get to eat at Jiro's, but we can certainly enjoy some great sushi!
