Entertainment/Activities Cave Tubing and Canopy Zip-Lining We will fly down zip-lines dangling approximately 80 feet above the forest floor. After zip-lining, we will hike to the entrance of a cave system where we will experience the mystery of Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. Here, we will ride inner tubes through the dark cave system with only our head lamps to light the way, passing through areas used for ancient Mayan sacrificial rituals. This adventure may end up being slightly creepy, but what better way to make that zip-lining adrenaline rush last?

Jetlag Defrag A little extra somthin' to add to our honeymoon R&R, this is one of the many wonderful services our Resort offers. This 30 minute session will help us wind down and forget any of the stress experienced during travel (we all know it is inevitable), and will be the perfect way to kick-start to our honeymoon.
Jungle Horseback Riding We will spend half a day riding through the jungle on routes the ancient Mayas once traveled. We'll ride under the canopy of jungle and listen to the calls of exotic birds. The destination of the ride is the Sittee River, where we will take a dip in the cool waters before heading back to camp. Another romantic horseback ride--it's the perfect addition to our love story!

Mayflower Waterfall Hike We will spend the day hiking around the Mayflower Bocawina National Park and end our hike at the top of Antelope falls. At the top of the falls is a beautiful emerald pool where we will be able to take a dip and enjoy the views of the jungle and Caribbean Sea before heading back to the Resort.

Reef Fishing On this adventure we will spend eight hours fishing the Belize Barrier Reef! First, we will catch bait fish from the mangroves, then we will jet out to a few areas of the barrier reef and cast our lines out for king mackerel, barracuda, jacks, grouper, and a variety of snapper. With some luck we'll have something for the resort chef to fry up for our dinner! (I'm not sure who this guy is, but it is from the Resort's website so hopefully we will come back with a picture very similar!

Reef Snorkeling We will spend the day snorkeling the Southern Barrier Reef. The water here is visible for 60 to 100 feet! We will hopefully have some close encounters with Eagle Rays, SEA TURTLES, a wide variety of exotic fish, and even dolphins or nurse sharks (don't worry mom, they don't like eating people--I Google'd it ). At midday, we will enjoy lunch at the breathtakingly beautiful Coco Plum Resort (seriously, look it up) and take in all the sights the island has to offer.

Xunantunich Tour We will spend all day visiting one of the most popular Mayan temples in Belize. We will take the Hummingbird Highway through the Cayo district, past the capital of Belize, across the Mopan River on a vintage ferry to the site of the ruins. Thought to once be a ceremonial structure, the Xunantunich pyramid is situated atop a limestone ridge where we will hike to the top for panoramic views of both Belize and Guatemala.
